High Ropes Course
Big Sky Bible Camp's Ropes Course is available to campers during their week of camp, to rental groups (extra fee required), to school groups for day use and anyone else who is interested! Below is a description of the primary elements at Big Sky's ropes course. Anyone desiring more information is welcome to come to Big Sky to take a tour of the course. Big Sky's course is great for sports teams, businesses and any other group for which teamwork is imperative. High Elements:
Giant Swing - The individual is harnessed in to a giant swing. After being pulled up by teammates, the individual releases themselves into a giant swing. Below is a video of the swing (May not play in 64 bit IE browser)

The Flying Squirrel - The individual is harnessed into a rope which passes through a pulley 25 feet off the ground and to the individual's teammates. When the command is given by the facilitator, the individual runs one direction while the team runs another direction pulling the individual into the air while swinging.

The Eagle's Roost - The individual must climb to the top of an 18ft pole, stand on the top and then jump out for a handle hanging in midair. This element provides the biggest challnege to the participant.

The Wild Woozee up high - This element is designed for two individuals who together climb a tree up to 25 feet and then must maneuver out two cables which gradually separate in the shape of a V. The distance the partners are able to traverse depends on their ability to support one another!

Dangle Duo - The dangle duo is a partner event where the team must climb up a giant ladder made of 4x4 beams. The rungs are progressively spaced farther apart creating the perfect challenge!

Zipline - Climb up 15 feet and jump off the platform, sailling across Peterson Lake on Big Sky's 350 foot zipline.

Climbing Wall - Big Sky's Climbing wall is approximately 25 feet high and can handle one climber at a time.

Big Sky has numerous other low elements (listed below) which will challenge your group and build your teamwork!
Low Elements:
1) Wild Woosey - Two group members depend on each other to traverse as far as possible along two progressively widening cables.
2) Maze - The group must figure out the route through the maze.
3) Porthole - Pass each other in the group up and through the suspended tire.
4) TP Shuffle - Arrange the group in a sequential line without stepping off the pole.
5) Whale Watch - The entire group must balance a teetering platform for a set amount of time.
6) High Wall - Get the whole group up and over the wall safely.
7) Islands - Traverse from one platform to the second and then to a third with one short and one long board as equipment.
8) Spiders web - Get the whole group from one side of the spider's web to the other without upsetting the sleeping spider.
9) Vertical pole and tire - Lift the tire over the top of the pole, touch it to the ground and put it back over the top of the pole.
10) Tension traverse - Traverse a single cable with the aid of a rope affixed at the opposite end of the cable.
